Variable speed trigger switch 1. You can adjust the speed of the drill between zero and maximum by varying the pressure on the trigger. The harder you press on the trigger the faster the drill will operate.
Turn the gear selector to Position “2”. NOTE. Do not change gears when the drill motor is turning. If you are having trouble changing gears, make sure that the gear selector is either completely in Position 1 or completely in Position 2 as you rotate the chuck by hand.
