User Defined Quick Selection Button

If you press the User Button it will recall the current stored Voice Selection. You can
assign a favorite instrument voice to this User Button in the following manner.
1. Press and hold the USER button until the indicator flashes.

2. Select the desired instrument voice by using the +/YES, –/NO buttons.

Please refer to Selecting one of the 138 voices.
3. Press, but don't hold, the Voice USER button again. The currently selected
instrument voice will be assigned to this button and available for quick selection.
Please Note: The USER button will keep your new User Style Button setting when the
power is turned off.
Current Default Settings for the USER Style Buttons are:
A top line Voice #12 Vibraphone
B bottom line Voice #92 Choir Pad

Layer (Dual) Voice

Layer, or dual, refers to an additional voice that is tone mixed with the selected
keyboard voice. The assigned layer voice will be heard with the original voice when
the layer feature is engaged.
1. Press the LAYER button, the currently assigned layer voice will show on the display,
and the indicator will light up.

2. Use the +/YES, –/NO buttons to select the desired Layered Instrument voice. The
display will show the layer voice number and name, after three seconds the display
–/NO
+/YES
will revert to the selected main voice.
3. Press the Layer button again (its indicator will remain lit). Now the LCD display
shows the selected Layered Instrument volume number to its right. Use the
+/YES, –/NO buttons to select your desired volume level for this Layered
instrument voice. The volume range is from 0 to 24.
To Exit the Layered Mode press the Layered button and its indicator will turn off.
