    EASY SET UP AND QUICK PLAY EASY SET UP AND QUICK PLAY IN FOUR SIMPLE STEPS Check the Package Contents Assemble the Piano Stand Place the Piano on the stand and Plug the cord in.     EASY SET UP AND QUICK PLAY ASSEMBLE THE PIANO STAND - Do all your final tightening only after the assembly procedure has been completed. Attach the Pedal Board to the Left and Right Piano Stand Legs with the leg screws. LEG SCREWS (4) Attach the Crosspiece to the Left and Right Piano Stand Legs with the crosspiece screws.

    EASY SET UP AND QUICK PLAY Plug the AC cord into the piano, the receptacle jack is located on the bottom back left portion of the piano. Then plug the AC cord into the nearest power outlet. Note: You can play in total silence without disturbing other in the room by plugging a set of headphones into one of the appropriate sockets, located directly under the keyboard on the left side of the instrument.

    KEYBLOCK CONTROL PANEL The following is a brief description of the controls located on the left keyblock of the Suzuki digital piano. DEMO/SONG - The Suzuki piano has 11 built in demonstration songs for your listening enjoyment designed to showcase the instrument’s capabili- ties.

    C1 D1 E1 F1 G1 A1 B1 D2 E2 G2 DEMO SONGS DEMO - The Suzuki piano has 11 built in demonstration songs for your listening enjoyment. Press the Demo/Song button and the first demonstration song will start DEMO/SONG to play. When the demo song is finished, the Suzuki piano will play the other Demo songs one at a time in sequential order.

    REVERB HALL REVERB STAGE REVERB ROOM REVERB/EFFECT - In the Suzuki piano there are three types of Reverb, and two types of Effect, or Chorus, functions. Note: The default setting for the Reverb/Effect function is on set to Reverb Stage type.

    TEMPO INCREASE TEMPO DECREASE METRONOME - This Suzuki piano offers a built-in Metronome that can be set to various Time Signatures (meters or beats) and Tempos. The metro- nome can help you practice the piano or to record a song by providing a steady beat for you to play along with.

    VOICE SELECT A0 B0 C1D1 E1 F1 G1 A1 B1 D2 E2 F2 G2 A2 B2 VOICE SELECT PIANO KEYS SELECTING AN INSTRUMENT VOICE -There are two ways of selecting an instrument voice. SCROLL THROUGH THE INSTRUMENT VOICES - You can scroll through the instrument voices by pressing and releasing the Voice Select button.

    Press and hold the Demo/Song button and the Reverb/Effects button for more than two seconds. This will reset the digital piano to its original default factory settings. The Concert Grand Piano Voice will now be DEMO/SONG selected.

    Play the piano piece that you wish to record. To stop recording press the Record button when you are finished with your performance. The Suzuki piano will stop recording. PLAY/STOP PLAYBACK - To listen to the recorded passage.

    PLAY ALONG SONGS A0 B0 RIGHT HAND TEST LEFT HAND TEST PERFORMING A SONG - Now it is time to try it yourself. The Demo/Song button will access a play along music lesson guide that can be used as a fun way to learn new music.

    PLAY ALONG SONGS VOCAL GRADE ON/OFF A0 B0 RIGHT HAND TEST LEFT HAND TEST RIGHT AND LEFT HAND TEST - Turn off the left and right hand piano parts of the song, you can play the complete piano portion of the song. DEMO/SONG Hold down the Demo/Song button and press the piano key to which you desired song is assigned.

    MIDI INPUT CHANNEL SELECT MIDI OUTPUT CHANNEL SELECT The Function mode gives you access to these other features on the digital piano. FUNCTION MODE - To engage the function control piano keys. Press the Reverb/Effect button and the Metronome button simulta- neously.

    FIXED is a nonsensitive keyboard. It is used for instrument voices such as organ or harpsichord, and for playing some contemporary music. To select a different piano touch type, put the digital piano into the Function mode by pressing the Reverb/Effect button and the Metro- nome button simultaneously, the indicator lights will begin to flash.

    One half step on the piano equals one REVERB/ semitone. EFFECT Put the digital piano into the Function mode by pressing the Reverb/Effect button and the Metronome button at the same time, both LED’s will begin to flash. METRONOME Press the D3Transpose Function piano key to put the keyboard into Transpose Select Function mode.

    TUNE - 1 CENT TUNING FUNCTION KEY TUNE - When the digital piano is turned on, the keyboard’s pitch is automatically set to Standard A440 concert pitch. However if a different pitch is desired, the piano’s tuning range can be adjusted in one cent increments + or - 50 cents.

    A0 B0 DUET PIANO LESSON MODE DUET - This Suzuki piano offers an exclusive function that will aid Teacher/ Student activity or duet performances. The Duet function actually splits the 88 note piano into two 44 note pianos. Splitting the keyboard allows for two people to perform in the same register at the same piano.

    For further information on MIDI and MIDI equipment that is available please contact your local Suzuki music store. MIDI TERMINALS - The MIDI terminals are located on the board connector panel MIDI underneath the piano.

    CONNECTOR PANEL MIDI AUDIO PEDAL JACK These connector jacks are located underneath the piano. The Headphone jacks are located on the bottom left of the piano, beneath the lowest keys on the keyboard. PEDAL JACK - Plug the Pedal cable into this connector. USB - The USB connector allows you to connect the piano directly to your computer’s USB port.
