TROUBLESHOOTING

Fault:
- The equipment is not
working.
- During baking there is
smoke coming from the
ventilation apertures.
- The breadmaker is not
heating up property.
- It is very difficult to remove
bread from the baking
pan.
Cause:
> Equipment not connected
to socket.
> The ON/OFF switch has
not been activated.
> Fault in the socket.
> The heating element is
still unused and is lightly
greased for manufacturing
reasons.
> The dough has overflo-
wed and has reached the
heating element.
> The lid is not closed cor-
rectly.
> The axles of the kneading
hook drive were not grea-
sed before use with mar-
garine suitable for baking.
The bread has stuck to the
driving axles.

Correction:
>> Insert plug into socket.
>> Move ON/OFF switch to
position "I".
>> Check the plug with
another suitable machine
and have the electrical
installation checked if
necessary by an electri-
cian.
>> As described in the ope-
rating manual, allow the
machine to heat up for
about 10 minutes. The
slight release of smoke
will cease by itself after a
short time.
>> Switch the equipment off
and pull out the plug. Re-
move the hot baking pan
and carefully clean the
hot heating element. Use
suitable aids (e.g. oven
glove, to avoid burns).
>> Close the lid correctly
so that the heat cannot
escape.
>> Carefully loosen the
bread from the baking
pan using a suitable aid,
e.g. plastic scraper).
Pour hot water into the
dough container and
allow the driving axles
to soak for about 10
minutes. Then clean tho-
roughly.
