Emptying the waste basket

— With the waste disposer stopped, completely extract the bottom tray by
pulling it outwards. Remove the waste basket by lifting it out using the
handles.
— Once emptied, the basket can be put back in place and the handles
collapsed.
The handles must be collapsed completely flush with the edge of the
basket, in the appropriate slots, so as not to interfere with closure of the
basket.
— Close the tray carefully.
