9. INSTALLATION

Positioning the waste disposer

The waste disposer has been designed and studied for instalment under a
normal kitchen sink. Its physical characteristics, however, permit it to be installed
in other positions, even outside the kitchen cupboards, as long as the position
chosen has the following suitable conditions:
— sufficient space for insertion and opening of trays;
— source of electricity close by ;
— access to plumbing and drainage connections.
The waste disposer is designed for use indoors. The position chosen
must guarantee protection from all atmospheric agents (rain, ice, direct
sunlight, etc.).
In order to function perfectly, the bio waste disposer must be properly installed
and connected to electric and water systems up to current standards, following
indications laid out below.

Delivery

The waste disposer has been tested and quality-checked in the factory. On
delivery it is therefore sufficient to check that all parts are present inside the
packaging and that no damages have been incurred during transport. It is
especially important to check that external protections were properly applied to
the waste disposer.
