    Description of the Appliance Inside of door On the inside of the oven door you will find the numbers of the different oven shelves. You will also find some brief information about the oven's functions, recommended shelves and temperatures for cooking the most popular dishes.

    Before Using for the first time Before Using for the first time Setting the Time The oven only operates when the time has been set. When the appliance is connected to the electri- cal supply or when there has been a power cut, Time of day flashes automatically.

    Using the Rings Initial cleaning Clean the oven before using it for the first time. Important: Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents! These can damage the oven surfaces.     Using the Oven General instructions • Always switch the appliance on first by pressing the On/Off button. • When the selected function is lit, the oven begins to heat up or the time set begins to count down. • The Operating time display shows how long the oven has been operating. This display can only be seen if none of the clock functions Minute Minder, Duration or End are set.

    Using the Oven Switching off the oven function To switch off the oven, press the but- ton repeatedly until no oven function is dis- played. Switching the oven off Switch off the appliance using the On/Off but- ton. Cooling fan The fan switches on automatically in order to keep the appliance’s surfaces cool.

    Using the Oven Speedcook indicator When the Rapid heat up function has been switched on, the bars that flash one after the other indicate that fast heating is working. Residual heat indicator When the oven function has been switched off, the bars that are still lit indicate the re- maining residual heat in the oven.

    Using the Oven Oven Functions The oven has the following functions: Oven function Application True fan For baking on up to three oven levels at the same time. Set the oven temperatures 20-40 °C lower than when using Conventional. Fan baking For baking on one oven level dishes that require more inten- sive browning and a crispy base.

    Using the Oven Inserting/Removing the Fat Filter Only use the fat filter when roasting to pro- tect the rear heating elements from fat splash- Inserting the fat filter Hold the fat filter by the grip and insert the two mounts downwards into the opening on the rear wall of the oven (fan opening).

In this way, residue is easier to clean off and does not have the chance to burn on. Residue that is not removed may cause changes to the surface colour when Pyroluxe menue is used.

The symbol is active and the bars of the heat indicator are lit until the door is un- locked again.
