When initially heating the ring for use or searing foods we recommend
using the highest heat setting at first. Then reduce the setting to the
desired heat for the remaining cooking time.

Overheated fats and oils can ignite easily. If you are cooking foods in
fat or oil (e.g. chips), please do not leave them unattended.
