  • Page 2 Please read the instructions in this manual before starting the AnywhereXP software. If you do not, the system may not start properly. To shut down the Raven XP, tap START, then SHUT DOWN, just as with any other computer. We recommend actually shutting down the unit, not placing it into standby. By completely shutting down the unit between uses, system reliability will be enhanced as all running software will be purged from the system at the reboot.

  • Page 4 It is strongly recommended that you use the “Microsoft” on screen keyboard. The Raven also ships with a second “on screen keyboard” utility installed that has not proven to be very reliable. You may also plug in any standard USB keyboard to the USB port for more keyboard options.
  • Page 5 Bluetooth devices and you should proceed to the next section: Starting AnywhereXP. If you just purchased the Raven XP and are going to configure it with your existing Bluetooth GPS and/or XM unit, you will need instructions on linking these devices to your Raven XP.
