PAUSE Pauses playback or recording. Press PAUSE again
to return to playback or recording.
PLAY Plays a tape.
RECORD Starts VCR recording. Also used for Express
r eco rd i ng .
REVERSE Rewinds the tape when the VCR is stopped.
Searches backward through a tape during playback. Starts
s low mot io n dur ing p la y - p a u s e a n d d ec re a s e s s lo w-moti on
speed.
SEARCH Displays INDEX and Go-To Search menus on TV
screen when VCR is stopped. Advances the tape 30
s ec onds o f r ecord ed m a te r ia l d u r in g pla y b a c k . E a c h press

STOP Stops the current VCR function such as record,
playback, rewind, or fast forward.
TRACKING Up or Down Lets you manually reduce the
s tr e aks t ha t may app e a r o n th e p ic tu re d u rin g p la y , s low
motion, or pause. Reduces picture "jitter" during stop-
action playback.
TV.VCR Switches the picture signal so that it either
comes from the VCR or cable/antenna system.
TV Function Buttons
CHAN Up or Down Selects next higher or lower channel
in the TV's channel memory.
CLEAR Removes menus or status displays from the screen.
GO BACK Switches between two channels. Select one
cha n n el an d th e n se l e ct a n o th e r u s in g t h e n u m b e r b u t t ons.
Press GO BACK to switch between the two channels.
INFO Shows the TV's status displays on the TV screen.
INPUT Selects between the TV's input channel or tuner.

The TV buttons may not control all
features of all models of GE, RCA, or
PROSCAN TVs.
