Tracking
Your VCR has automatic tracking which removes the
s t re aks or s now fr om the p ic tu r e . Au to m a tic tra c k in g is
activated when you insert a tape or turn on the VCR.
Oc ca si ona ll y you m a y n e e d to m a n u a lly ad ju s t t ra c k in g,
especially if the tape was recorded on a different VCR.
J u s t use the TRA CK ING b u tto n s to r e m o v e t h e s t re a k s o r
snow. You can also use tracking when you pause a tape to
re du ce j it t er in g of the pi c tu re .

Pro-Tect Plus" Locking Feature

r ec o r d i n g s , yo u can lo ck th e V C R s o th a t t h e b u t t o n s o n
the VCR or remote won't work.
o To Lock: Press and hold the VCR button on the remote
f o r a ppr oxi m a te l y si x s e c o n d s . " SA FE " will b e
d isp la ye d on t h e V C R' s fr o n t p a n e l w h e n it is lo c k e d .
Locking Your VCR:
lf a timer recording is programmed,
make sure your VCR is turned off.
Locking your VCR prevents the VCR
from being accidentatly turned on.
