You will be asked to choose which language you want to use. English is
the default language with 13 other language choices.
Then, the InstallShield Wizard will appear.
Number if asked for. Then select the default choices, Next, etc. until
"Finish" is seen and click on it.
Your software was properly installed. You will have a desktop icon called
"WebCam Companion" but if not that will be the program you select from your
installed programs when you want to use the digital microscope.
The software allows you to observe specimen slides or objects on your computer.
When you view with the camera installed, the magnification depends on the
objective lens you are using and also the size of your PC monitor.

Using the ArcSoft Software
The software contains many applications for capturing and processing your photos
(snapshots) or videos. Click on WebCam Companion to begin.
The Application Panel is very intuitive. The screen will be divided into "My
Captures" and "Capture". The screens have various buttons and just put the cursor
over them to see what they are and what they do. To begin you should go to
"Preferences" and choose a selection in the "Media Folder" and then you can use
the default or change settings for "Capture Settings" and "Web Camera Settings".
If any questions or problems come up, you can use the "Help" menu.
Plug in the USB cable of the Digital Camera to your computer.
You will use the illuminator, focuser, and stage the same way as you would with
the optical microscope operation.
You are now ready to begin your digital adventure!
