To simulate navigation to the destination:
1. Follow the previous steps to initiate navigation.
The 76CS Plus switches to the Map page. A
magenta line shows the direct route from your
current location to your destination. If desired,
press IN or OUT to adjust the zoom level.
2. Press PAGE to display the Compass page.
3. Press Up on the Rocker key to simulate and
increase in speed. Press the Rocker key Right
or Left to simulate steering.
4. Press QUIT to return to the Map page. Press
IN to adjust the zoom level. Observe the
movement of the position marker (triangle) as
the unit simulates navigation.
5. If desired, press PAGE or QUIT to view the
simulated navigation on the other main pages.
Now we will simulate navigation in Automotive
mode. To switch to Automotive mode, press and hold
the PAGE/MODE key. Use the Rocker key to select
Automotive and press ENTER.
To find and go to a land destination:
1. Activate Simulator mode.
2. Press the NAV key.

3. Highlight Go To Point and press ENTER.
4. Highlight Cities and press ENTER. Use the
Rocker key to select a city and press ENTER.
5. Highlight Go To and press ENTER.
6. Highlight Faster Time or Shorter Distance and
press ENTER.
7. At the "Do you want to simulate driving this
route?" window, select Yes and press ENTER.
The Map page displays
a magenta turn-by-
turn route from your
current location to your
destination.
8. Watch the movement
of the position marker
(triangle) as the unit
simulates navigation.
If desired, press IN or
OUT to zoom.
9. Press PAGE to view
other pages.
When you are ready to navigate
on your own, turn the Simulator off.
