ANGUAGE
This setting may be made with the handset and the base.
1. Press the program/mute button and SET LANGUAGE 1ENG 2 FRA 3ESP
shows in the display.
2. Use the touch-tone pad on your handset or base to select 1ENG , 2FRA ,
or 3ESP , or use the
1ENG, 2 FRA, or 3ESP. English is the default setting.
3. Press the program/mute to save. You will hear a confirmation tone, and
the selected language displays for two seconds.
If you are programming the base:
a. SET CONTRAST 1 2 3 shows in the display.

b. Go to step one in the Display Contrast section.
If you are programming the handset:
a. HANDSET NAME shows in the display.
b. Go to step one under the Handset Name section.
NOTE: Press the EXIT button once to keep the previous setting and return to
standby mode.
