Answering System Settings (Available for 28522)
This section shows you how to set up your answering system to receive incoming calls. Before you begin the set up
process,
you will need to ensure that the answering system is turned
? Press the ans on/off button to turn the answering system on and off. The message indicator is under the Play/Stop key
will show the status of the answering system.
The following table summarizes behavior of the message indicator.
Answering system status
Answer and Record mode is on or Answer
only mode is on.
Answer and Record mode is off or Answer
only mode is off.

Setting the Voice Prompt Language

Your answering system supports English and Spanish (or French) voice prompts. (The default setting is English)
To change the answering system¡s voice prompt language,
1.
Press [

] to select ¡ANSWERER¡ and press [OK], then

] to select ¡SETTINGS¡ and press [OK], then

Outgoing Announcement

When the unit answers a call, an outgoing message is played to callers
You can use either:
your own outgoing message
