TV operations

• The following operations are available from the Amplifier's remote control after you program
memo
your TV into it, but some operations may need to be learned separately by the amplifier (see
"Setting Up the Remote Control to Control Other Components," p.52-55).
• To perform these operations, press the TV/SAT or TV CONTROL button to set the remote to the TV
operation mode.
• For more information on individual commands consult the manual that came with the your TV.
• The "Standard" screen will appear when presetting the TV/SAT (or any other) function button. When
presetting the TV CONTROL function button the "Digital" TV screen will appear.

Press to switch the TV on or off (not possible with
all models, especially those without a standby
mode).
2 MENU
Use to select different menus on a TV screen.
3 ANT
Use to select the type of antenna you have hooked
up to your TV.
4 MUTE
Press to mute or restore the volume.
5 VOL (–/+)
Press to control the volume of the TV.
6 CH (–/+)
Use these buttons to change the channel of the
TV.
7 Number buttons
Use to select a specific TV channel.
8 SUB CH (–/+)
Use these buttons to change the sub-channel of
the TV.
9 L1, L2
A freely assignable key where you can enter any
command you like—refer to p.54-55 for more on
this.
0 TV FUNCTION
Press TV FUNCTION to select the TV's input.
- 5/∞/2/3/ENTER
5/∞/2/3 : Use to select or adjust items on the
menu screen.
ENTER : Use to activate the selected function.
= P IN P
Press P IN P to turn on or off the sub-screen in
picture-in-picture mode.
~ SWAP
Press SWAP to exchange the main screen for the
sub-screen.
! CHANNEL RETURN
Use to return to the previous channel.
