Creating the PublicGroup Contacts

You need to enter a group's information to make a PublicGroup call to it. For more details on PublicGroup
Calls, see Selecting a Group ID.
1. Right-click Public Group, on the left of the CPS screen, and choose "Add".
2. Enter the Group ID of the group you are calling.
3. Enter the Name of the group you are calling. This gives an easier way of remembering the contact, rather
than just relying on the numeric Group ID.
4. Enter the Channel where the call takes place.
5. Choose the radios that belong to this group.
6. Enter the desired contact (the Homegroup) that you want to change to when the call ends, or when the
radio is idle for over 30 seconds.
7. Enter the desired Ringer tone you want to hear, when receiving a call from this contact.
