Basic recording method for 3D video
3D video recorded using the 3D Conversion Lens will appear three-dimensional using the difference in the
images seen with your left and right eyes. You may feel tired due to the difference in the image seen by each
eye. Also, depending on the image being viewed, you may feel like you are moving, and feel motion sickness
due to the image.
To enjoy 3D video safely and comfortably, pay attention to the following points when recording 3D video.

About the recording distance when recording 3D video

Appropriate zone:
A distance of 1.2 m (3.9 feet) to 4 m (13.1 feet) from the unit to the subject is appropriate for
recording 3D video.

Record from a distance of at least 1.2 m (3.9 feet).
• When recording, make sure your footing is stable and there is no danger of colliding with another
person or object.
Points for recording 3D video
• When moving the unit as you record, move it slowly.
• Where possible, record keeping the unit in a horizontal state.
• Try to avoid recording while riding in a vehicle or walking. Try to hold the unit as steady as possible
when recording.
• Use of a tripod is recommended for recording a stable picture.
• Make sure the room is as bright as possible when recording indoors.
