Lift-Up Cooktop
Some models have a cooktop that can be lifted up
for easier cleaning. To make cleaning easier, the
entire cooktop may be lifted up and supported in the
up position.
Be sure all surface units are turned of'f before
raising the cooktop. The surface units do not need to
be removed, however, you may remove one to make
raising the cooktop easier. There are two side supports
that lock into position when the cooktop is lifted up.
After cleaning under the cooktop with hot. mild soapy
water and a clean cloth, lower the cooktop. Be caret"ul
not to pinch your fingers.
To lower the cooktop, push the rods back and gently
lower the cooktop until it rests in place.

Control Panel and Knobs

Clean up any spills or spatters with a damp cloth.
Remove heavier soil with warm. soapy water.
Clean control panel with mild liquid dish detergent
and a soft cloth. Rub control panel lightly.

pads is sensitive to abrasives and pressure.
The control knobs may be removed for easier cleaning.
To remove a knob, pull it straight off the stem. Wash
the knobs in soap and water but do no~ soak.

Oven Vent

The oven is vented through an openin~ under {he right rear surface unit.
Never cover the opening with aluminum foil or any other material. This
would prevent the oven vent from workin: properly.

Painted Surfaces

Painted surfaces include the
outside oven door. sides, control

To clean the outside glass finish,
use a glass cleaner. Rinse and
polish with a dry cloth.
