5-10 SATA Drive Connections

Serial ATA Ports
Six Serial ATA Ports (I-SATA0~ I-SATA5)
are located below the onboard battery
on the motherboard. These ports,
supported by Intel ICH10R (South
Bridge), provide serial-link signal
transmission, which is faster than that
of the traditional Parallel ATA. See the
table on the right for pin defi nitions.
