4. While turning the power on, press and hold <Ctrl> and <Home> at the same
time until the USB Access LED Indicator comes on. This might take a few
seconds.
5. Once the USB drive LED is on, release the <Ctrl> and <Home> keys.

The "Host system" should also have a serial port and a terminal program that
supports XModem Transfer protocol (Hyper Terminal for the Windows operating
systems, and minicom for Linux/FreeSBD, etc.).
•
A Null_modem serial cable

How to use Serial Flash for Boot Sector Recovery

1. Connect a Null_modem serial cable between the target system and the host
system that runs the terminal program.
2. Make sure that the new BIOS Image fi le is accessible for the host system.
