Additional Telephone
Services
You can use additional telephone services with your fax
machine, for example, call waiting, call toggling and call
forwarding. To do this, these services must be enabled
for your telephone line. To fi nd out whether or not these
services are available for your telephone line and to learn
how you can make use of them, contact your telephone
company. Press the R/PAUSE key, to access the addi-
tional tele phone services on your fax machine.
Calling Line Identification
(Depending on the country and telephone
network)
Your fax machine will show a caller's telephone number
before you pick up the handset. To make use of this func-
tion, Calling Line Identifi cation Presentation (CLIP)
must be enabled for your telephone line. Contact your
telephone company to inquire about whether or not this
additional function is available for your line. Th e number
will not be shown if the caller suppresses his number.
If you receive a telephone call during your absence, the
symbol
will appear. Th e caller's number will appear

in the display. Your fax machine will store the telephone
numbers of the last ten calls.

If the number of the rings has been set to

numbers of callers who have directed their calls to
