On an aircraft, either on the ground or airborne
In addition to FAA requirements, many airline regulations state that you must suspend
wireless operations before boarding an airplane. Please ensure that the host USB
G
modem is turned off and your modem is removed from the USB port prior to
boarding aircraft in order to comply with these regulations. The modem can transmit
signals that could interfere with various onboard systems and controls.
While operating a vehicle
The driver or operator of any vehicle should not operate a wireless data USB modem
while in control of a vehicle. Doing so will detract from the driver or operator's
G
control and operation of that vehicle. In some countries, operating such
communications USB modems while in control of a vehicle is an offense.
Safety Information
Only authorized LG or Verizon personnel should service the modem.
G
Do not disassemble or open, crush, bend or deform, puncture or shred.
G
Do not modify or remanufacture or attempt to insert foreign objects into the modem.
G
Avoid dropping the modem or exposing the modem to a liquid, high humidity (such
as a bathroom), fire, explosion or other hazard. If the modem is dropped, especially
G
on a hard surface, or is exposed to a liquid or comes into contact with a sharp object,
such as animal teeth or nails, immediately take it to an authorized LG service center
for inspection as the internal circuit boards of the modem may be harmed.
