Chapter 5: Using the Tuner
Selecting presets
Once you've preset a radio station, you can tune in to
it simply by selecting the appropriate preset.
Number buttons
BAND
TUNER

Press TUNER to select the TUNER input source.

Press BAND repeatedly to select "PRESET."
The PRESET indicator on the display lights up.

Use Up/Down ( / ) to select a preset.
You can also use Left/Right ( / ) to select preset
banks A–E and number buttons 1 to 8 to select
presets.

Radio Data System (Europe and
Russia models only)
The Radio Data System allows text and other
information to be transmitted in FM radio signals,
providing additional radio functionality. FM stations
that use the Radio Data System can be found in
certain European countries and Russia.
The DRX-730 supports the following types of Radio
Data System information: PS (Program Service
name), PTY (Program Type), RT (Radio Text), and
CT (Clock Time).

Lights up when PS information has been received.

Lights up when PTY information has been received.
