Problem
Excessive smoking
Oven door will
not unlock
Oven not clean
after a clean cycle
Oven door is
crooked
"LOCK DOOR" flashes
in the display
Possible Causes
Excessive soil.
Oven too hot.
Oven controls not
properly set.
Oven was heavily soiled.
The door is out
of position.
The self-clean cycle has
been selected but the
door is not locked.
The latch handle was
moved to the right but
a program other than
self-clean was selected.
What To Do
Press the CLEAR/OFF pad.
Open the windows to rid
the room of smoke. Wait
until the LOCKED DOOR
light goes off. Wipe up the
excess soil and reset the
clean cycle.
Allow the oven to cool
below locking temperature.

oven section.
Clean up heavy spillovers
before starting the clean
cycle. Heavily soiled ovens
may need to self-clean
again or for a longer
period of time.
Because the oven door is
removable, it sometimes
gets out of position during
installation. To straighten
the door, push down on
the high corner.
Move the door latch
handle all the way to
the right.
Press the CLEAR/OFF pad
and begin again.
