NOTE:
Up to ten cards are supported. However, a maximum of three cards are
supported for factory integration on HP ProLiant DL980 server.
For FBWC functionality, HP ProLiant DL980 P421 Mounting Kit is required and is
included on factory integrated orders of the HP Smart Array P421 SAS Controller
on the HP ProLiant DL980 server.
For stand-alone orders of the HP Smart Array P421 SAS Controller to use with
the HP ProLiant DL980 server, one HP ProLiant P421 Mounting Kit is required for
each HP Smart Array P421 SAS Controller.

Software Technical Support Services.
