3. Double-click Sounds. The Sound Properties dialog displays.
4. Under Schemes, click No Sounds.
5. Click No when asked to save the sound scheme. The words No Sounds displays in the
Schemes list box.
6. Click OK to exit the Sound Properties dialog.
Install the Targa 2000 RTX/DTX Drivers
The Targa 2000 RTX/DTX drivers must be installed for the Targa 2000 RTX/DTX board to
work correctly in the TD-325. You may install the drivers from diskettes delivered with the
Targa 2000 RTX/DTX board, or from the Truevision World Wide Web site.
To install the Targa 2000 RTX/DTX driver software:
1. Insert the Targa 2000 driver setup diskette in the system's floppy disk drive.
2. In Explorer or File Manager, double-click
3. Follow the prompts of the installation wizard to install the Targa 2000 RTX/DTX
software. See the documentation delivered with the Targa 2000 RTX/DTX board for
information on installing the driver software.
NOTE
When the installation wizard prompts you to select the product type, click Targa 2000
RTX/DTX.
4. Click Yes when prompted to restart the system.
5. Allow the system to start, and then log on to Windows NT using an account with
Administrator privileges.
Verify the IRQ Settings
After installing the Targa 2000 RTX/DTX board and software, check and note the IRQ
settings of the Targa 2000 RTX/DTX driver, SCSI controller(s), and the Ethernet driver for
future reference, if needed.
To view the current IRQ settings:
1. On the Start menu, click Programs/Administrative Tools/Windows NT Diagnostics to
open the Windows NT Diagnostics dialog.
2. Click Resources (tab), and then click IRQ to display the current IRQ settings.
