Nous vous remercions d'avoir choisi I'adaptateur
secteur compact CA-570 Canon. II permet d'alimenter
un produit Canon
a
partir d'une prise secteur. Veuillez
consulter Ie mode d'emploi de votre produit pour vous
assurer qu'il est compatible avec cet adaptateur.
Certains produits n'exigent pas I'emploi d'un noyau de
ferrite lorsqu'ils sont raccordes
a
I'adaptateur. Mais
laisser Ie noyau attache
a
I'adaptateur ne posera pas
de probleme.
• Mettez toujours Ie produit hors tension
avant de raccorder ou debrancher
I'adaptateur secteur.
Raccordement de I'adaptateur secteur compact
a
votre produit (Fig. 1)
1. Mettez Ie produit hors tension.
2. Branchez Ie cordon d'alimentation sur I'adaptateur
et sur une prise secteur.
3. Raccordez l'adaptateur
a
la prise DC IN du
produit.
• Ne jamais brancher la fiche DC sur un produit
non specifie.
Debranchement de I'adaptateur secteur compact
(Fig. 2)
1. Mettez Ie produit hors tension.
2. Debranchez I'adaptateur de la prise DC IN du
produit.
3. Debranchez Ie cordon d'alimentation de la prise
elect rique, puis de I'adaptateur.
Remarques:
• Si l'adaptateur ne semble pas fonctionner, cela peut
etre dO au fait que son circuit de securite a ete
active, Debrancher I'adaptateur, attendre quelques
minutes et Ie rebrancher. (En cas de mauvais
fonctionnement, il est defectueux et devra etre
retourne au centre apres-vente Canon pour
reparations.)
• Cet adaptateur devient chaud pendant I'emploi. II ne
s'agit pas d'un dysfonctionnement.
• Du bruit en provenance de I'adaptateur secteur peui
etre audible pendant I'emploi. Ce n'est pas une
anomalie.
• Si I'adaptateur est utilise
a
proximite d'un televiseur,
celui-ci risque d'emettre du bruit - eloigner
I'adaptateur du televiseur ou du cable d'antenne.
• Ne jamais deb rancher I'adaptateur pendant
I'utilisation.
• S'assurer de debrancher l'adaptateur apres I'avoir
utilise.
• L:adaptateur peut etre utilise avec une source
d'alimentation dont la tension se situe entre 100 et
240 V AC. Pour obtenir plus d'informations sur les
adaptateurs
a
fiche pour I'utilisation outre-atlantique,
contactez votre centre de service apres-vente Canon.
• Pour eviter toute panne et echauffement excessif de
la machine, ne pas raccorder cet adaptateur aux
convertisseurs de tension de voyage, ni
a
des
sources d'alimentation speciales comme celles qui
existent sur les avions et les bateaux, ni
a
des
inverseurs CC-CA.
• Ne pas demonter I'adaptateur, ne pas I'exposer
a
I'eau, et
a
des chocs ou vibrations, au encore
a
la
lumiere directe du soleil. Eviter d'exposer l'appareil
a
des temperatures elevees, comme
a
I'interieur
d'une voiture pas temps chaud. En outre, ne pas
laisser I'adaptateur
a
proximite d'un appareil
degageant une forte chaleur comme un poele au un
appareil de chauffage, par exemple.
• La fiche d'alimentation est utili see pour mettre
I'appareil hers tension. La fiche d'alimentation doit
rester accessible afin de permettre sa deconnexion
rap ide en cas d'accident.
• Lars de I'utilisation de I'adaptateur secteur compact,
ne I'enveloppez ni ne Ie recouvrez d'un marceau de
tissus, et ne Ie placez pas dans un endroit etroit et
confine. La chaleur pourrait s'accumuler, Ie bollier
en plastique se deformer et cela pourrait entrainer
une electrocution au un incendie.

Thank you for purchasing the Canon CA·570
Compact Power Adapter. It will power a Canon
product from an electrical outlet. Please check your
instruction manual to make sure that your product is
compatible with this adapter. Some products do not
require the use of a ferrite core when connected with
the adapter. However, reaving the core attached to the
adapter will not present any problems .
• Always turn the product off before
connecting/removing the power adapter.
Con necti ng the Compact Power Adapter to the
product (Fig. 1)
1. Turn off the product.
2. Connect the power cable to the adapter and plug
the power cable into an electrical outlet.
3. Connect the power adapter to the product's DC IN
terminal.
• Never connect the DC plug to an unspecified
product.
Removing the Compact Power Adapter from the
product (Fig.
2)
1. Turn off the product.
2. Remove the power adapter from the product's DC
IN terminal.
3. Unplug the power cable from the electrical outlet
and remove the power cable from the adapter.
Notes:
• If the adapter does not seem to be working, this
may be because its safety circuit has been
activated. Unplug the adapter, wait a few minutes,
and plug it in again. (If it still does not work, it has
malfunctioned and should be returned to a Canon
service center for repair.)
• The adapter becomes warm during use. This is not
a
malfunction.
• You may hear some noise from the power adapter
during use. This is not a malfunction.
• If the adapter is used next to a TV, it may cause the
TV to emit noise - move the adapter away from the
TV or the antenna cable.
• Never unplug the adapter during use.
• Be sure to unplug the adapter when you have
finished using it.
• The adapter can be used with a power supply
between 100 and 240 V AC. Contact your Canon
service center for information about plug adapters
for overseas use.
• To prevent equipment breakdowns and excessive heating,
do not connect this adapter to voltage converters used by
travelers, or special power sources such as on aircraft,
ships or DC to AC inverters, etc.
• Do not disassemble the adapter, do not get it wet,
and do not expose it to shock or vibration, or to
direct sunlight. Avoid exposure to high
temperatures, such as a closed car in hot weather,
and do not leave it near heaHadiating equipment,
such as a stove or heater.
• The Mains plug is used as the disconnect
device. The Mains plug shall remain readily
operable to disconnect the plug in case of an
accident.
• While using the compact power adapter, do not
wrap it or cover it with a piece of cloth, and do not
place it in confined narrow spaces. Heat may build
up, the plastic case may deform and it could result
in electric shock or fire.
