Contacts behave like waypoints and count towards the
500 maximum waypoint total. If the contact did not
have a GPS location on the last transmission, the last
known position appears overlaid by a question mark in
the location field. To view the contact details, use the
Rocker to move to the next data field to add or change
information.
Use the Rocker to view or edit
different contact data.

To accept a new contact:
1. When a new contact is received, the New Contact
page automatically appears.
2. Select OK. If you do not select OK, the contact is
not saved.
To review a contact and contact details:
From the Map page, select the selected contact on
the Contact Bar and press Enter. As you select the
contacts on the Contact Bar, the Map page shows
its name, direction and distance
To change contact details:
The Elevation, Position, and Note fields can be
manually edited.

Sending a Location

Use the Rino to send a specific location to other Rino
users. You can send any point found from the Find menu.
If the unit needs to wait until 30 seconds elapse since the
last position transmission, a "Waiting to send location..."
message appears until the Rino is able to transmit. If a
location is sent more than once, a number is automatically
