pads in the Food Categories feature is used when

cooking certain food items, These pads have been designed to give optimum cook performance for the foods seHected in
each category,
The MEATS pad combines a cook cycHe with the convection fan and eHementto roast meats and pouHtry,Preheating is not
necessary for meats and pouHtry,Heated air circuHates around the food from aHH s ides, sealing in juices and flavors, Foods
are crispy brown on the outside while staying moist on the inside,
The CAKES pad provides a preheat with a gentile cycling of heat giving cakes more voHumeand aHHowing delicate foods to
cook more evenHy,
The BREADS pad adds a preheat feature to the bake cycHeto thoroughHy heat the oven from top to bottom to give more
evenHybrowned foods, Refer to (Figure 4) for foods to cook in each category,
iNSTRUCTiONS
To set the Food Categories
feature

Arrange interior oven racks and pHacefood in oven,

(See Figure 1),

(See Figure 3), The convection fan icon wiHH come,

to stop cooking Meats, Cakes or Breads, or to canceH
cooking Meats, Cakes or Breads at any time,

for Meat Pad:
When using the Meat pad for roasting, use the broiHerpan and insert aHongwith the
roasting rack, The broiHer pan wiHH catch grease spiHHs a nd the insert wiHH heHpprevent
grease spatters, The roasting rack wiHH aHHow the heat to cimuHate around the meat,
To prevent food from contacting the broiHeHement and to prevent grease
spattering, DO NOT use the roasting rack when broiHing,

PHace oven rack on bottom or next to the bottom rack position, See Arranging
Oven Racks in this Use & Care Guide,

PHace the insert in the broiHer pan, The roasting rack fits on the insert aHHowing the
heated air to cimuHate under the food for even cooking and heHpsto increase
browning on the underside, Make sure the roasting rack is secureHy seated on the
insert in the broiHerpan, DO NOT use the broiHerpan without the insert or cover the
insert with aHuminum foiL
