5.4 TRIP PLANNING

The Trip Planning Page allows you to calculate the distance, desired track,
and time requirement between any two waypoints.
To perform trip planning...
Enter the from waypoint. If you wish to use your present position, leave
it blank.
· Enter the to waypoint. If you wish to use your present position, leave
it blank.
The GPS 50 will display the great circle distance and bearing between the
two geographical points. In addition, the time requirement will be displayed
based on your present speed.

5.5 SUNRISE/SUNSET

The Sunrise/Sunset Page will display sunrise and sunset times for any
waypoint. This can be helpful if you wish to be at your favorite fishing spot
at the crack of dawn, or if you wish to return home before dark.
To calculate sunrise and sunset times...
· Enter the desired waypoint name. If you wish to use your present
position, leave it blank. The GPS 50 will display the sunrise and sunset
