4 Advanced Operation
AES/EBU Input Trim: Sets the gain of the AES/EBU digital input
signal. Turn an Encoder to change the gain.
Input Source: For each channel, press the Encoder to select ana-
log, digital, or automatic backup source. Options are:
Digital (DIG)
Analog (ANLG)
Digital with analog backup (D–A)
Analog with digital override (A–D)
Maximum Analog Input: Press an Encoder to select +21 dBu or
+15 dBu. When set to +21 dBu, the maximum input level to the
amplifier is +21 dBu. When set to +15 dBu, the maximum input
level to the amplifier is +15 dBu. Note: Changing this value changes
the range of sensitivities available to the amplifier.
Operation Manual
Amplifier Label Edit: This lets you label the amplifier according to
its function. Turn the right Encoder one click to select a letter position.
Turn the left Encoder to select a letter, character or space. When done,
press Menu/Exit, Next or Prev.
CH1 Label Edit: This lets you label Channel 1 according to its
function. Turn the right Encoder one click to select a letter position.
Turn the left Encoder to select a letter, character or space. When
done, press Menu/Exit, Next or Prev.
CH2 Label Edit: This lets you label Channel 2 according to its
function. Turn the right Encoder one click to select a letter position.
Turn the left Encoder to select a letter, character or space. When
done, press Menu/Exit, Next or Prev.
Exit: To exit the Advanced Features and go to the Basic Menu,
press Menu/Exit once.

4.2.4 Operation Examples

Operation Example 1
How to set the CH1 input sensitivity using the LCD Control Screen:
1. After power-up, press Menu/Exit. The first menu item appears:
the Contrast screen.
2. Press Next until you see "CH1 Sensitivity."
3. Turn an Encoder to set the sensitivity. NOTE: If you do not see
the sensitivity you want, try changing the Maximum Analog Input
level (see below).
4. Press Menu/Exit.
Operation Example 2
How to set the Maximum Analog Input level using the LCD Control
Screen:
1. After power-up, press Menu/Exit. The first menu item appears:
the Contrast screen.
2. Press Next until you see "Advanced Features."
3. Push an Encoder knob.
4. Press Next until you see "Maximum Analog Input."
5. Press an Encoder to change the maximum analog input level.
6. Press Menu/Exit.
