Wasrantybelow,there willbe a chargefor installation.
lfthe replacement w aterheater ofdosest availablecapacityand quality doesnot meet current applicablegovernment standards,there will be
a chargefor the differencein price betweenthe replacement which does not meet government s tandardsand one which doesmeet govern-

If the water heater is subjected to commercial,institutional,orindustrial use oruse in residences o f twofamiliesormore, the abovewarranty
coveragefor tanks that leakis effectivefor two yearsfrom the dateof purchaseand the LimitedWarrantyOn Partsbelowis effectivefor one
yearfrom the dateof purchase.
LIMITEDWARRANTYON PARTS
Through one (1) year from the date of purchase,when your SearsKenmorewater heater is installedand operated in accordancewith the
instructions in this manual, if a part failsdue to a failurein materials or workmanship,Searswill furnish a replacementpart fleeof charge.
If purchaserdoes not qualify for free installationas provided in the One YearLimitedLabor Warranty below,there will be a charge for
instalfation.

Repair,free of charge,defectsin materialsor workmanshipof the water heater asprovided by the aboveLimited Warrantyon Parts.

in the United States.

Sears Installation Warranty
In addition to any warranty extended to you on the Sears merchandise
involved, which warranty becomes effective the date the merchandise is
installed should the workmanship of any Sears arranged installation
prove faulty within one year, Sears will, upon notice from you, cause
such faults to be corrected at no additional cost to you. If you want this
heater professionally installed by Sears contact your Sears Salesperson.
They will arrange for prompt, quality installation.
