instructions

distinguished by the firsttwo lettersof the modeldesignations and cabinet

IMPORTANT: Before you begin the actual installation of your air
conditioner,check yourlocalelectricalcodesand the informationbelow.
Yourair conditionermustbe connectedto a powersourcewith the same
alternatingcurrent (A.C.)voltageand amperageas markedon the name
platelocatedonthe chassis. OnlyA.C.can be used. DirectCurrent(D.C.)
cannot be used.
CIRCUITPROTECTION - Useon singleoutletcircuitonly. An overloaded
circuit will invariablycause malfunction or failure of an air conditioner,
therefore,it is necessarythat the electrical protectionis adequate. Due
to momentaryhigh currentdemandwhen the air conditionerstarts, usea
"TIME DELAY"fuse or a HACRtype circuit breaker. Consultyour dealer
or powercompanyif in doubt.
Refer to the electrical name platelocated on the air conditionerchassis
(See page 2) to determinethe correct fuse or circuit breaker amperage
for your model(Bee Table1 on Page6 for electricalreceptacletypes).
The power cord has a plug with a grounding prong and a matching
receptacleis required.
Excessive Weight Hazard
Use two or more people when
installing your air conditioner.
Failure to do so can result in
back or other injury.
