EXHAUST
HEPA FILTER REPLACEMENT

FILTER STYLE EF-1
The EXHAUST
HEPA FILTER must be
replaced
when it becomes
dirty.
The
timing
between
replacement
intervals
will
depend
on the use conditions
the vacuum
cleaner
is exposed
to, The EXHAUST
HEPA FILTER should
be checked
when
changing
the dust bag.
The filter
CANNOT
be washed
as it will
lose its
dust trapping
ability.
1. Remove EXHAUST HEPA FILTERcover
by pressing the release tab on the cover
and rotating out
from vacuum
cleaner.

2. Remove the filter
cartridge
from cover.

4. Replace the
EXHAUST HEPA
FILTERcover by
placing bottom tabs
in slots and rotating
in until cover snaps
into place.
3. Place new
filter cartridge
into cover
making sure that
airflow arrow on
side of cartridge
points into cover.
Place foam
seal
of filter
against
the vacuum
cleaner
body.

CARBON
FILTER REPLACEMENT
The carbon filter is located in a recess
behind the Exhaust HEPA Filter. The
carbon filter will lose its odor-absorbing
capability
over time. It should be
repUaced every three to six months for
maximum effectiveness.
NOTE: Use replacement carbon filter
KC38KDWAZ000.
