2. Place the battery latch spring onto the guide post on the battery latch assembly.
3. With the battery latch assembly slightly elevated, align the slot in the latch assembly with the guide posts on the base of the computer.
NOTE: Ensure that the tabs on the battery latch assembly are behind the retention tabs on the base of the computer.

4. Adjust the battery latch spring, as needed, then press the latch assembly into place.
5. Align the tabs on the battery release button with the hole in the battery latch assembly.
6. Apply pressure to the battery latch assembly, then simultaneously, apply pressure to the battery release button until the tabs on the button push
through the hole on the latch assembly and snap into place.
