Installing onto Windows 98 (USB interface)
Make sure that the printer is connected to your computer by

USB cable.
Turn on the printer, and then turn on your computer.

"Add New Hardware Wizard" window will appear.
If this window does not appear, refer to "Failed to Install the Printer Driver (USB
Interface)" in "Troubleshooting" of the online manual.
Click the "Next" button.

Check the radio button for "Search for the best driver for your

device (recommended)", and then click the "Next" button.
Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

Select the "Specify a location:", and then click the "Browse"

button.
