On the home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
2.
Click Device > Auto On/Off.
3.
In the Weekday or Weekend section, select the Enabled checkbox.
4.
Specify the times when your smartphone should turn on and turn off on weekdays and weekends.
5.
Press the
key > Save.
Turn off your smartphone
Depending on your theme, the location or name of the Power Off icon might differ from the location or name in this task.
If you haven't set your BlackBerry smartphone to turn on and turn off automatically at specific times, press and hold the
key.
If you have set your smartphone to turn on and turn off automatically at specific times, on the home screen or in a
folder, click the Power Off icon. If you want your smartphone to stay turned off until you turn it on again, click Full
Power Off. If you want your smartphone to turn on again at the specified time or for alarm or calendar reminders, click
Turn Off.

Reset your smartphone

Remove and reinsert the battery.

Check the battery power level

About battery saving mode
Battery saving mode helps your phone conserve energy and extend the amount of time between charges. When turned on,
battery saving mode monitors the battery strength. When your battery strength starts getting low, the application
automatically adjusts some options in the phone. Some options the phone adjusts to extend battery strength include:
Reducing the brightness of the backlight to its lowest level.
Reducing the length of time before the backlight turns off.
Turning on the option to automatically dim the backlight.
Reducing the setting for the Mobile Hot Spot automatic shutdown timer.
