Turning Range Hood Off
To turn off the unit, select the button (A beep will sound to signal the unit
has been turned off). This will make the controls inactive.
If fan or light is on, one touch on the button will turn off the fan and/or light.
The unit will then go into sleep mode.
If the fan and light are already in the off position, the unit will go into sleep mode
automatically after 30 seconds if no function has been selected.
Filter Change Signal Reset
If the filter change signal is on, press and hold Auto-Off and clock-set ( + )
buttons for 3 seconds to reset once the filter has been changed.
Heat Sensor
This unit is equipped with a Heat Sensor that automatically turns on the fan if a
certain temperature is reached from cooktop heat. The heat sensor symbol
will be illuminated if this occurs.
The fan will go up to top speed until the temperature comes back down to a
normal temperature level. Once the normal temperature has been reached, the
heat sensor symbol will turn off and the unit will return to the previous setting
before the Heat sensor was activated.
Beep Signals
Any time the user presses a button that cannot be used at the time, the unit will
beep twice. A double beep indicates an invalid selection; single beeps indicate a
successful selection.
