Enable Server Fax

Server Fax is an optional feature for the machine. When you purchase the Internet/Server Fax Kit you will
receive the information and hardware required to install this feature. The Kit contains the Subscriber
Installation Module (SIM), and self explanatory instructions, used to install the Server Fax option. In
addition, before installing the Server Fax feature, make sure that the Network Scanning/Email Kit was
installed. Follow the instructions supplied with the Network Scanning/E-mail Kit to install the S2X card in an
available PCI slot in the network controller and to connect the cable between the S2X card and the
device's backplane.
Print a Configuration Report to verify that Server Fax is an Installed Option.
1. Press the [Machine Status] button.
2. Touch [Print Reports].
3. Touch [Configuration Report].
4. Touch [Print Selected Report].
5. Touch [Close]
