Drive over edges slowly and at a rig ht
angle if p ossible. Driving ov er sha rp edges
can lead to hidden ty re damage a nd wheel
dam age which is only noticed later on.
When pa rk ing, ensure that the tyres a re not
pressed against the ed ge of the kerb .

Check tyres regularly for dama ge (foreign
bodies, punctures, cuts, crack s, bulg es in
sidewalls). Chec k wheels for damage. In
the event of dam age or abnorm al wear,
consult a workshop. We recommend your
Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.

Tread d ep th
C heck tread depth regularly.
S hould the front tyres show greater wear
than the rear ty res, have b oth front wheels
exchanged with the rear wheels so that the
tyres with deeper tread a re on the front
ax le.
C orrect tyre pressure.
For reasons of safety , tyres should be
replaced when their tread depth has worn
down to 2 to 3 mm (winter tyres: 4 mm).
