    o Outer parts of the oven should be cleaned with warm soapy water, using either a sponge or soft cloth. No abrasive cleaners should be u sed. o We would recommend that an app ropriate stainless steel cleaner and polish is regularly used on the stainless steel surfaces of this appliance.

    Setting the duration function This function will allow you to set a countdown time simila r to he minute minder function. However the oven will no longer continue to heat, once the countdown period has elapsed. Use the oven function selector knob to select the mode of cooking that you require.

    Setting the end cook function This function is similar to the duration function, however instead of selecting a p eriod of time that you wish the oven to witch off after. You select the time of day that you wish the oven to switch off at.

    Setting the start and end time function his function will allow you to set a time in the future that the oven switches on at and a time that the oven will switch o ff at. Use the oven function selector knob to select the mode of cooking that you require.

    Cancelling an automatic cooking function If an automatic cooking function has been set and you wish to e the oven in manual operation mode, you will need to cancel the automatic cooking function. o To select manual operation mode, press the duration and cooking end time buttons simultaneously.

    OVEN LIGHT: Separate light control which allows the light to be switched on, even when the oven is not cooking. CONVENTIONAL OVEN (top and lower element): Thi method of cooking provides traditional cooking, with heat from the top and lower elements. This function is suitable for roasting and baking on one shelf only.

    Thermostat control knob The oven thermostat control knob sets the required temperature of th e oven. It possible to regulate the temperature within a range of 50 - 250°C. urn the control knob clockwise. Oven operating light This light will come on to indicate that the oven’s heating elements in operation.

    o If there is no guidance given on the food packaging specifica for cooking in fan oven mode, you can generally reduce the cooking time and temperature by 10% from the information given for conventional oven cooking. o Make sure that frozen foods are thoroughly thawed before cooking, unless the instructions on the food packaging advise that you can “cook from frozen”.

    Using the rotisserie o Insert the spit rod (A) into the drive unit. Then insert the groove (B) into the bend (C). o Turn the plastic handle (D) anticlockwise, and then slide the rack into the oven runners. o IMPORTANT: You must ensure that the rod (E) slots into the relevant hole in the oven cavity (F).

    Cleaning and maintenance External cleaning operations must only be car ried out when the oven is cool and with the app liance disconnected from your mains supply. o The oven should be thoroughly cleaned before it is operated for the first time. Your appliance is fitted with stay clean liners the sides and back of the oven cavity.

    Any damage that is caused to the appliance by a cleaning product will not be fixed by Baumatic free of cha rge, even if the appliance is within the guarantee period.

    Replacing the oven bulb IMPORTANT: The oven must be disconnected fro your mains supply before you atte mpt to either emove or replace the oven bulb. o Remove all oven shelves, the drip tra y and the side rack that is on the same side as the oven light.

    Removing the oven door for cleaning To facilitate the cleaning of the insid of the oven and the outer frame of the oven, the door can be removed s follows:- o Open the door of the oven fully. o The hinges (A) have two movable bolts on them (B).
