If the battery is charging, the Power Indicator on the front of your
HP iPAQ flashes amber.
If the amber light is not on:

reconnecting it to make sure the connection is not loose.

Take the HP iPAQ out of the desktop cradle or disconnect it
from the sync cable, then reinsert or reconnect it.
