light conditions.
NOTES:
1. PMCS checks for daylight conditions are listed below.
2. when looking through the PS-40 with objective lens cap on,
observable image has a form of two overlapping zones. It is
not a defect.

CHECKING PROCEDURE
OPERATIONAL CHECKS
Inser t bat ter y. remove
output lens cap. Turn the
switch to the BATTery po-
sition. look for red glow of
indicator.
Turn the switch to oN posi-
tion. look for green glow of
indicator.
Close light sensor with
your finger. look for image
in output lens.
remove your finger from
light sensor. look through
output lens and wait about
10 seconds for image dis-
appearance.
Take rubber cap off. Con-
nect the remote control
to the sight. Turn function
switch to STB position.
Press and hold the re -
mote control key. look for
green glow in output lens.
release the key. Turn the
switch to oFF position.
NOT FULLY MISSION
CAPABLE IF:
red glow absent.
Indicator green glow
absent.
Image absent.
Image present.
Green glow absent.
