4. Check-mark Sirius Traffic to turn the traffic receiver
on.
5. Uncheck Sirius Traffic to turn the traffic receiver off.
The Realtime Traffic icon in the upper right corner of the
screen indicates that the Realtime Traffic receiver is on.

Warning Prompts

Check-mark Warning Prompts to enable warning
prompts.

View All Messages

You can view either all received messages for the area
you have a subscription, or only the messages on your
route within the same area.

Dynamic Route Guidance

Ongoing route guidance may change your route, based
upon the traffic information received. The AUTO mode
will will make these changes automatically; the
MANUAL mode will ask for each traffic event.
Symbols Legend
The navigation radio can display icons on the map when
the Sirius Traffic function is active.
NOTE: It can take between 15 and 30 minutes for a
message to reach the system.
Select LEGEND in the Sirius Traffic Setup menu to
review available icons and their meaning.

Sirius Realtime Traffic Flow

Traffic flow information is fed to SIRIUS Traffic by
roadway sensors monitored and maintained by local
departments of transportation. The availability of these
feeds varies city by city and is limited by road infrastruc-
ture and maintenance.
• A transparent green line indicates flowing traffic with
speeds faster than 45 mph.
• A transparent yellow line indicates an average driving
speed between 10 and 45 mph.
