The phone must have been previously paired to the
UConnect system that you want to delete it from.
1. Press the UConnect button to begin.
2. Wait for the beep.
3. Say UCONNECT SETUP.
4. After the following beep, say DELETE PHONE.
The phone names along with priority numbers will be
announced.
5. When prompted say the priority number of the cellu-
lar phone you wish to delete.
6. You can also press the VR button anytime while the
list is being played.
7. Say the priority number choose select of the phone
that you wish to delete.
Things You Should Know About Voice
Recognition (VR)
• Always wait for the beep before speaking
• Speak normally, without pausing, just as you would
speak to a person sitting approximately eight (8) feet
away from you.
• Make sure that no one other than you is speaking
during a voice recognition period.
• Performance is maximized under
− low-to-medium blower setting
− low-to-medium vehicle speed
− low road noise
− smooth road surface
− fully closed windows
