Child safety locks

Manual child lock in rear left door
Manual child locks in the rear
doors
To lock manually: The child safety locks are
found on the trailing edge of the rear doors
and are only accessible when the doors are
open. Use the key blade to turn the lock and
thus activate or deactivate the child safety
lock.
A. The doors cannot be opened from
inside.
B. The doors can be opened from inside.
Electric child locks: Press the switch on the
driver's door. A message appears on the
information display.
Switch for electric child safety locks and
disengaging rear power window buttons.
WARNING!
Always keep the lock buttons pulled up
when driving. In the event of an accident,
this allows the emergency services to get
into the car quickly. Passengers in the rear
seat cannot open the doors from inside if
the child safety locks are activated.

Electric child safety locks and
disabling the rear window
buttons (option)
When the electric child safety locks are
activated, the rear window buttons are
disabled.
To activate the child safety locks:
– Turn the ignition key to position I or II.
– Press the switch. When the LED in the
switch is lit, the rear window buttons are
disabled.
A message appears on the information
display when the child safety locks are
activated.
NOTE! Cars with electric child safety locks
do not also have manual child locks.
Child safety locks activated
A lit LED together with a text message on the
display indicates that the locks are activated.
The doors cannot be opened from inside. The
power windows can only be operated with
the controls on the driver's door.
