A A Flexifuel vehicle can be driven on any 95 octane unleaded petrol, or bioethanol E85, as well as all possible mixtures of these two fuels. The car consumes 30-40% more E85 which has a lower
energy content. The precise difference depends on driving style, ambient temperature and variations in fuel specification amongst other things.
