The green indicator light illuminates to show that the charger is connected to the
power outlet. A confirmation message is displayed if your Vertu phone is switched
on.
Some cigarette lighter sockets are only powered when the vehicle ignition is
switched on. The vibrating alert is disabled while the charger is connected to your
Vertu phone.
3 When the battery is fully charged, the battery charge indicator stops animating.
Disconnect the charger from your Vertu phone, and then from the cigarette lighter
outlet.
Only use the vehicle charger specifically designed for use with your Vertu phone.
Never attempt to use a vehicle charger if it has been damaged.
The time taken to charge your battery depends on its existing charge. You can use
your phone normally while it is charging, although this will increase the time to charge.

Use the data cable

The USB data cable enables you to transfer data between your Vertu phone and a
compatible computer. You can also use your phone as a modem for a PC to connect
to the internet.
1 Connect the USB data cable to the micro-USB connector of your Vertu
Constellation. Make sure the cable is inserted correctly, with the USB symbol facing
up.
2 Connect the cable to a USB port of the computer. The phone starts charging, and
a number of USB connection modes are available. Select from the following:
PC Suite — For use with PC Suite on a PC.
Mass storage — To transfer files between your phone and a PC using the standard
file management software.
Media transfer — To transfer audio or video files between your phone and a PC
using the standard music or video handling software.
Use phone as modem — To use the phone as a modem for your PC, and connect
to the internet.
