Seating and Safety Restraints
Because the last row of seats is not equipped with either child
tether or LATCH anchors and is spaced closer to the row of
seats in front, Do not use forward-facing or rear-facing child seats
(other than belt-positioning boosters) in the last row.
Air bags can kill or injure a child in a child seat. NEVER place a
rear-facing child seat in front of an active air bag. If you must
use a forward-facing child seat in the front seat, move the seat all the
way back.
Front passenger seating position
The tether can be attached directly
to the rear of the front seat.
1. Position the child safety seat on
the front right-hand passenger seat.
2. Adjust the front right-hand
passenger seat full forward.
